1. log in to the SSO-Portal with the help of an existing token (e-mail token).

3. a new page will open in a new tab or window, click on the dark blue login button. Your login details will be copied automatically.
4. a list of all your previous tokens, if any, will be displayed in the application. Please select the menu item „Roll out token“ here:
If you have not had any tokens up to now, you will be suggested to roll out a new WebAuth token. The description is not a mandatory field, you can leave it blank. Please do not press the „Roll out token“ button yet, but first insert your Yubikey into the USB slot of your computer.
5. insert the Yubikey in the USB slot of your computer.
6. in the new window (result of step 4) leave the default setting on „WebAuthn“ and click on the blue button „Roll out token“:
7. a security question will be displayed, which may look different depending on your operating system or browser. Please follow the instructions of your operating system at this point.
NoteIf the Yubikey requires a PIN, first deactivate the PIN prompt on your Yubikey in accordance with these instructions.

8. When the Yubikey lights up, touch it on the golden circular area. As a result, the key is „rolled out“ or registered.
