To use Microsoft Office 365, you must register at Microsoft 365.

You can log in to all Microsoft services with your HAW-MS e-mail address at https://mysignins.microsoft.com sign in.

This is:

As password always use the current password of your university user ID.

The following rules apply to your Microsoft account:

  • First name, surname, @az.haw-landshut.de email address and primary email address are synchronised with the Azure AD for each user ID.
  • On the day of the end of the contract or de-registration, the use of the account ends and it is prepared for deletion.
  • 90 days later, all data (account and content) are permanently and irretrievably deleted.
  • After a further 90 days (i.e. 180 days after leaving), all metadata will also be permanently deleted.
  • Landshut University of Applied Sciences does not create a backup of your data.

As part of the cooperation with Microsoft, the university provides all students and employees Microsoft365 available to all students and employees.

This includes the following products:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft OneNote
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • and more

Note in case of errors and problems: Central IT has no capacity to help you with software for private use and cannot provide support for the products available in the Office portal.
